Out of the Box Films is an avante garde media mission purposed to highlight the glory of God as it is manifest through missions and ministries worldwide through documentaries and short films. Heading up Out of the Box Films is Melinda Wilson. Melinda’s love of missions has birthed this new format of missions work – not doing her own thing but using her media passion and talent to showcase other missionaries, to bring attention to their work, raising awareness and, where possible, funding. Media has been integral in spreading the word and works of God. From Gideon’s print media blitz distributing Bibles back in 1908 to the television and internet media revolution of the 21st Century, media in its many forms is an ideal platform. Out of the Box Films - sharing the stories of missionaries, whether they are just around the corner or across the globe.
